Endian was founded in 2003 by a team of experienced network specialists and linux enthusiasts. Their objective: Providing sophisticated open source based solutions. In 2004 they started the development of Endian Firewall, trying to implement a system that fulfils the requirements of a modern network security solution. Since the first release in 2005 more than 500 customers in 27 countries have decided in favour of Endian Firewall. In the same time frame Endian Firewall Community has been downloaded more than 250,000 times by our growing community.
