Endian products were represented for the first time at the Annual Computer Troubleshooters Conference in Melbourne this year. The successful Conference sees the meeting of the members of the Computer Troubleshooter's franchise group for the purpose of discussing new technologies and strategic directions for the group.
This year was the Ninth successive conference and was held at The Rendezvous Hotel in the Melbourne CBD on the 23rd and 24th of October 2009. Around 60 franchise members attended the two day conference to participate in workshops, discussions, presentations, and to view the products in the Trade Show. The Conference included attendance by the Group's US based Global CEO, Chip Reaves.

The Trade Show this year included for the first time a display of Endian Unified Threat Management Appliances (UTMs) which was sponsored by the Oceanic distributor Veritech Corporation. The display included a live demonstration of an Endian Macro, plus sample products across the range, including Endian Mini, Mercury and 4i products. Veritech also demonstrated the Veritoken USB OpenVPN client to round out the suite.
Veritech CEO, Livio Mazzon said, “Even though this was the first time Endian products were featured at a Computer Troubleshooters' Conference, we were very pleased with the response and interest level from the resellers. It seems that Internet Security and content filtering is still the hot issue for small and medium businesses, and these resellers really took to the Endian products and what they could offer their customers.”
In addition to Endian, the Trade Show included stalls sponsored by Trend Micro, AVG, ACE Voip Solutions, Sophos, Netgear and many others. Computer Troubleshooter's National Director (Australia) Nick Roche was very pleased with the Conference turnout, and in his closing addresses thanked Veritech for introducing these Endian products to the Computer Troubleshooter's Group.
